HANABI-PV metaphase automatic spreader

HANABI-PV metaphase automatic spreader

The HANABI-PV Metaphase Mini auto-spreader optimizes the environmental conditions for the preparation of metaphase chromosome spreading.
Temperature, humidity and airflow are regulated and stabilize quickly, ensuring that when chromosomes are dropped and spread out on microscope slides, they are dried consistently and reproducibly.  Excessive spreading and chromosomal overlaps are minimized, facilitating better metaphase assay yields.  Sample tubes and slides are tracked by bar codes (unique feature).  The chromosome spreading process for conventional FISH, CGH and G-banding analysis of samples derived from blood cells or bone marrow samples is now simpler and more consistent.  Crossing of chromosomes is minimal and, after automated plating, it can be analyzed on the finished slide.  Protocols requiring cells and chromosomes to be distributed across the entire slide can be performed using an optional tilted slide assembly
